Classic Car & Restoration Show.

Although the focus for Motul this year is aimed more at the performance and modified market, it was important not to forget the classic car market and all the time that had been spent on this so far.

One of the first classic car events on the calendar is the Classic Car & Restoration Show at the NEC. As classic cars are often stored in a garage over the Winter months, the first sunshine of Spring is an opportunity for classic car owners to get their pride and joy out for the year. As these cars may have been stored for a number of months, potentially since the end of September, there is often maintenance to do.

As the stand would be front and centre of the event, the stand planning had to be inviting. Designing the stand includes booking the carpet and electrical points for power as well as curating the stock to take as the plan was to sell lifestyle pieces as well as oils & lubricants.
 
Once all of this had been submitted to the show, it was time to load the van, take it to the NEC and build the stand. As Motul were front and centre, we contacted a Motul classic partner garage who brought a car along as well as additional technical knowledge for those with queries.

Along with Motul, we manned the stand and met with members of car clubs who were exhibiting in the halls and discussed the partnership they had with Club Motul, the Motul online branded store that we manage for the brand.

For the show, we produced an updated version of an A5 Motul product catalogue for members to take and peruse, which directed them to Club Motul to purchase products. As well as this, we focused on some key products and created some artwork to highlight them.
 
After the three-day show, it was time to break down the stand and get ready for the next one.
