Club Motul Website Rebrand.

Club Motul started as website and initiative to work with classic car clubs in the UK, providing discounts on Motul products as a branded website. The look and feel of the site very much reflected this. However, when Motul decided they wanted to start pushing into the performance market for DTC sales, we needed to rebrand the website.

Club Motul started as website and initiative to work with classic car clubs in the UK, providing discounts on Motul products as a branded website. The look and feel of the site very much reflected this. However, when Motul decided they wanted to start pushing into the performance market for DTC sales, we needed to rebrand the website.

We wanted to brighten the site to give a more modern feel and that also meant changing some of the imagery without losing the classic base entirely. We started the transition around year ago by removing the login page of the website for car clubs to log into to get their discounted products and replacing this with a club-specific discount code to make the process simpler for website users.

Changing the look was a major part of rebranding the Club Motul site but planning the layout and pages was an important way to allow us to focus on broadening the reach. As well as the user experience, it was important for us to be able to manage the website from the CMS efficiently and having the right tools to be able to create promotions, add products, blog content and offer codes.

We set up an offer to our email subscriber base to make sure they got on board with the refresh.
